I know that pairing beer and cigars is not a popular opinion by many craft beer lovers, but Noel is honestly my favorite beer to have with a cigar. If you like cigars you should give it a shot.

I don't smoke cigars often, but my dad loves saisons and likes to smoke cigars now and then, so this is a good idea for when we hang out next.

I also might have to go and buy the rest of the Noel bottles sometime soon. I only left a couple there, but if other people aren't smart enough to buy them when they see them for $3.99, then I feel no guilt in buying them all.

I bought a bunch of Noel too when it was on sale. There's a bunch of Ete hanging about, I opened a bottle with a friend who'd had another bottle from the same shipment and was told that the previous one had been really sour. Dat Fantome roulette tho.

Had a Fantome La Dalmatienne new batch the other night during a bottle share. Delicious. Smelled and tasted like an edible garden. Highly recommend it.
You just made me order this through Etre because I haven't seen this in stores yet. I seriously hope this is as good as you make it out to be.

Has anyone had the Brise BonBons bottles that have been around lately? I'm drinking it now and it's pretty low in carbonation. Maybe it needs some age? Tastes pretty good though. A bit Dupont like but more bitter with a very slight hint of brett in the background.

I had a regular off the shelf Fantome saison last weekend. Really nice white pepper with a subtle tartness at the end. Very nicely carbonated and easy drinking. Unfortunately, it had a really odd oily feel to it that made it seem like it had been aged on avocado rinds. New "mystery" spice or just needs more time?

Watching premier league on a Sunday afternoon is reason enough to drink a 750ml bottle by myself so I opened up a bottle of La Dalmatienne. I agree that it smells delicious although I get more oranges and other citrus fruits than garden. Taste-wise it's okay but the medicinal bitter flavour that ruined my last bottle of the regular Saison was also there, albeit much less pronounced. It would have been amazing without that bitterness. All in all definitely tasty but Chocolat and Printemps are still my favorite Fantomes so far.

Sadly I did not enjoy the bottle of Hiver that I picked up. No smoke but it had a flavor that I just didn't dig. Maybe that was the mystery spice?

Also hittin up the hiver. Nice light bubble gum and spice nose. Tastes is of light hops almost as if dry hopped and a little bitter back end. Last bottle I had a few months ago had a lot more bang to it, this one is more of a session crusher.

does anyone have a bottle of bon bons locally turding it up that can #goandpickitupformebro or one purchased semi-recently online that you might want to unload?

I have a science experiement I need to undertake and I am without bons of bon. Said science experiment involves 5 tomes 1 dude...if ya know what im sayin ;)

edit: ****, i also need a "surlie" label classic saison that would have been bottled/released/purchased roughly a year ago..

Plenty here around Chicago, but they aren't a very good batch.
But let me know if you want me to grab you some.

I got your Bons right here

Is Blanche something that is produced somewhat regularly? I've always wanted to try this one but have always missed it.

Its been infrequently released.
I think it was out in 2009-2011 and then went MIA for a couple years when this last newest batch popped up.
Balls. I regret not pulling the trigger when it was on etre last year, been looking ever since.

Also, did this ever see US distro?

I saw it got label approval and there was talks of it...but I heard no reports of sightings/purchases

I never saw it in Kentucky, which has the largest fantome selection I've ever seen, so i was pretty sure it never got distro.
