Tome Tuesday. I don't enjoy this as much as the light version, but it's still good. Missing the typical tome (even young) funk and the body is very light.

The question is how many different batch 1s were there? I'm sure I have two different, but think there were 3 different from the bottles I've tried.

Loved Artist #1. Slim chance of acquiring #2 since moving out of California.
Hopefully for everyone else, the pricing is more in line with what it should be at. Ugh. The current bottling is horrendously priced.

Speaking of heavily carbonated...

This was my first time with Noel and it was obviously heavily carbed. I generally don't like spiced/winter beers, but once the bubbles calmed down I thought this was pretty ok. The winter spices were pretty muted and the taste was what I think of as Belgian candied sugar. Overall, I thought it was fine, but not blow-your-mind unusual like a couple of the other tomes I've had. I'd drink it again, but probably won't buy it again.

I thought the forest blonde was good. The dark was really heavy on the cumin, be prepared, I'll hold on the next bottle for a bit in hopes it mellows a bit.
New chocolate is excellent, Printemps 16 is pretty similar to 14, April 16 saison is tropic mango or something, but get some autolysis flavors, new Bris is a hoppy bitter son of a gun, and the new Diapes tastes like strawberry lemonade or maybe cranberry hibiscus, I don't know, but also has some of the autolysis notes of the new saison, hoping it's just some fresh notes that will round out. Feb saison is all peach juice and carboy stoppers. Magic ghost 14 is tasting great. No paragraphs or line breaks, pffft!

Iso. ****. This is one of the few (of the reasonable sort) I've never had and it always sounds great. All we have is pissenlit and I didn't care for the recent batch, and old DMV/whateverthatiscalled left around.
