I'm looking for a kettle for small (2.5g to 3g) batches. I'm looking at 24qt Bayou Classic pots or the 26qt Concord pot on eBay.

I've been digging the BIAC stuff, looks cool, but expensive, but it got me thinking.

Has anyone or could you stick an element in a Brew Bucket and have some of the similar benefits?

Obviously the Brew Bucket is more expensive and I'm not sure I'd want to stick a hole in it, but I'm just tossing out ideas. The other problem I could see is that the BIAC stuff all allow you to dump the trub via the bottom valve, you could not do that in the brew bucket, so you'd end up with the trub from the boil as well as the yeast cake after fermentation.
