I just bought a 24 qt s/s stock pot on eBay. The inside is a brushed finish not mirrored. Does this matter? It is stainless steel and smooth, but a little worried. I though I was getting a deal but maybe not. Thanks

Tony

I've done my last 10 batches in an aluminum turkey fryer pot which could not under any circumstances be described as mirrored. My guess is that you'll be fine.

you'll be boiling in there so it will kill anything lurking in the brushed finish.

My thought is that you will be just fine.
