Insert for magnetic tool tray/drip tray?

Bought one of these for my keezer and it works good, just wondering if anyone has any ideas for some kind of insert that would fit in it so I can set a beer on it and it wouldn't be sitting in the drippings. Any ideas?

Someone years ago had posted about using a floor vent and the tray they used it sit right on top.
