Krausen or infection?

3 gallon of edworts Apfelwein, no deviation on the recipe. I scaled it down to 3 gallons, but used a full packet of yeast.

looks like Krausen to me should be fine. dose it smell funny or have a off taste? i too have a cider going Its from the yeast I'm sure
