I made a batch of Yooper's Pale ale following the recipe to a T.
Unfortunately I must have been somewhat inebriated on bottling day because out of 12 batches bottled so far its the ONE that I did not make any notes on bottling day.

The issue is that past he first bottle (opened ~10 days after bottling (I was impatient (it was perfect))) all the other bottles have been over carbed and require VERY delicate pouring technique or loosing quite a bit of foam to the sink.

About a week ago (just after moving to a new house) I was in the rec room lifting weights and I heard an odd crashing sound. I was confused and peeked in the closet I was storing my conditioning beer in and heard/saw leaking beer.

After some cussing and cleaning I found that one of my 22's from this batch had exploded (my first bottle bomb) and that roughly half of the rest of the batch had caps that were starting to bow outwards!!

I quickly shoved these in the fridge and started drinking them.
After a few days I noticed this bottle with some streaks on the neck of the bottle and thought it was weird.
I then checked the rest of the bottles in the fridge and the majority of them have these streaks on the neck which while pouring dissolve away.

So while I initially though that I had (and may have) added too much priming sugar, I havent seen these streaks on any other bottles or batches and was wondering if anyone has a clue whats going on.

For what its worth, the batch tastes as fine as any pale ale, just annoyingly carbonated it seems.

Also Im reasonably sure that this batch all the bottles got PBW'd and power drill scrubbed before sanitizing, so I dont think that dirty bottles are the cause, though I may be wrong.

I brewed/pitched on 7/28 and bottled on 8/16 20 days there.

Its possible that this batch hadnt fully attenuated, but I dont have any data to confirm/deny. I was hoping that maybe the streaks on the neck would look familiar to someone as I hadnt seen/noticed them on the first 11 batches I brewed and bottled.

So I suppose Im hoping that the streaks maybe indicative of some issue beyond my control??
