I have a large supply of cascade hops... Looking for recipes! I am a new Brewer mostly five gallon batches however I have a large capacity possibility. Thoughts? Looking for a sweeter IPA or Pale

I recommend Yooper's Pale Ale as well. I just finished it about a month ago and love it. I'm interested in the Orange Pale Ale in the recipes section too which also uses all Cascade.

Biermunchers centennial ale subbed with only cascade is great, and there's always the SNPA clone. It's such an easygoing hop, it's hard to hate.

Do I add all of the grains... I have 6 pounds of mixed malts.... it fill half a 5 gallon bucket... seems like alot... but... I dont know im very new to this...

six pounds seems a little light for most 5 gallon batches. I usually am somewhere around 10 pounds of grains per batch.

Have a strainer of any kind? I had that happen to me back when I had a ****ty bag. I spent probably a good hour sifting grain out before it got to a boil and it turned out perfectly fine.

Time to buy some @Wilser bags.

in an all grain brew its like 10 pounds of grain - should i strain it and add more water? try to steep more of it?

What process are you at? I was assuming it broke as trying to remove the bag once mash was over. Just once the mash is over you need to remove the grains before boiling.

Do you have something like this?

Or place a collander on a bucket or something and pour back and forth. No need to do anything different than usual besides how you are removing the grain.
