When you clean with idopher and that other white stuff (forget the name), is it true that you dont have to rinse if mixed to proper proportions? I'm always paranoid of chemicals, so in rinse anyways with boiled water, which is a bit of a pain.

Okay not to rinse?

Off flavors? Liver problems? :D

Iodophor is a sanitzer...you use that AFTER you clean...

Many of us clean with oxyclean, if that's the white stuff you are thinking of.

You clean with oxyclean....Rinse Thouroughly...Then SANITISE with Iodophor dilluted at the proper rate (which translates to 1 tbs/5 gallons) NO, you don't rinse the sanitizer off...

I don't know what you mean about live problems....I'd have more concern for all the beer I drink and my liver than iodophor.

Any more questions, about sanitizers, you can find the answers here https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f39/sanitizer-question-54932/?highlight=Sanitizer+question

At proper dillution, there is no off flavors....

Okay thanks!

White stuff, I meant that "One-Step," but I see the answer in your link.

Thanks
