Well just to dispel any assumptions, I do not plan on doing this.

but the other day me and my buddy were talking about brewing and the question came up, "what would happen if we used bakers yeast to ferment with?" I doubt it will work at all but was unable to find any answers online. So if any of you guys have any input on this it would be appreciated
 
It would ferment. Very likely be nasty, but it would ferment.

Both yeast are of the same genus, Brewers yeast is just isolated from the herd based on attributes.
