After 20 years of brewing I still get excited every time I see bubbles in the blow off or in the airlock. I seriously wake up and have to check it first thing. Am I the only one?
When I put a new batch in the fermenter, I check it before I go to bed and before I make my coffee the next morning. I really like seeing the first bubbles in the airlock!
30 years brewing and I still check every time. I like to ensure the yeast start working in a decent amount of time (usually between 12 and 24 hours). While I can't ever remember ever having a problem, it is always a relief when I see bubbles in the blow-off.
