I was trying to push starsan from 1 keg to another. I hooked up a gas line from my taprite 3 way secondary regulator to the starsan keg, and the other 2 gas lines were hooked to kegs of apfelwine and IPA. I started pushing the starsan into the empty keg, and noticed liquid flowing in the gas line to the starsan keg. I looked at the other gas lines, and saw liquid flowing.
I disconnected everything from the kegs, and disconnected the gas lines from the secondary regulator. When I opened the gas valves on the secondary regulator with the gas lines disconnected, liquid came out of the valves. The liquid tasted like apfelwine.
Do I have to disassemble my secondary regulator in order to clean it? How do I even do that? I'm worried about a future infection from a contaminated regulator. There wasn't any liquid in the gauges on the reg.
