I have a cabinet full of ingredients, but I'm stuck trying to come up with a recipe. This would be a small batch (1 or 2 gallons), and I'm open to any style, though I feel like the ingredients would lend themselves primarily to an IPA or pale ale.

I already have a 1-gallon Citra pale ale fermenting (Citra + Cascade).

Anyone have suggestions about what I can do with the rest?

2 pounds Briess light DME
2 pounds of equal parts CaraPils and Caramel 20L (mixed)
3.5 oz Citra pellets
4.0 oz Calypso pellets
4.0 oz Huell Melon pellets
US-05

I love doing a leftover batch!

You could do a 2G batch with 2lbs DME + 2-4 oz of your grain.

I don't know the AA of those hops, but pick one and add at 60, 30, and 0. Dry hop.

Do you need more instructions?

Do you have beer smith? if so you can put in styles and see how close you get to the target. if not, you can get the free trial version for twenty days or so and do the same. curious to see what you come up with

My BeerSmith trial expired, so I'll need to purchase it before I can use it again. Great product, but I don't have funds right now to buy it.

Anyone have experience combining any of these hops (citra, calypso, huell melon)?

Hi. I've used both Brewer's Friend and BeerSmith, and TBH, I prefer Brewer's Friend. It has a free version that is almost as robust as the supporter's version. Give it a try. Ed

I also use an app called "Wort" it was free. It's a nice starting point, although I do like beersmith better. Also, if you have an android, download the free app "Google Opinion Rewards" took me about 4 months of simple surveys to get the $8 beersmith app for free. I paid for the PC version, but I do have a no pay for apps rule.

Interested in what you brew up. Keep us posted. I think with those hops, I'd be doing a lot of late additions.

Brew log is a good app you can use too and it's free!

You can use those hops at 60 15 10 and 0 then dry hop depending on their AA, style of beer, hop flavor profile, etc. but you can use that app to plug on different ideas to get the OG, color, and IBU you want...keep us posted!! Good luck!! [emoji482]

Use grain hot water and hops. Mash at 152°F. Boil for an hour. Add hops. Chill. Put in fermenter. Ferment for 2 weeks. Bottle. Wait 1 week.
Voila. You have beer. [emoji6][emoji106]
