Oh nice! at the beginning a give to my hop a Fertilizer that I make myself : dried blood spots + phosphorus + potassium (6/6/1)

then, when they begin to grow, I give nettle manure

and not strong in gardening but there, I have beautiful hop for the first year :)
good luck ;)

How do you string those up? I wouldn't mind doing something like this but I'm not sure how to run the stringers

The posts are 20 foot long 2.5" sprinkler pipe, sunk about 5 feet deep in the ground with some Redi mix. The wire runs through some eyelets at the top, which are connected at the bottom by some little turnbuckles. The twine is tied and duct taped :fro: to the wire up top. 4 Chinook, 4 Fuggle, and 4 Cascade. The soil was amended with some peat compost, regular old vegetable compost, and a l little bit of chicken manure. The already sandy nature of the soil aids in drainage.
