Right...the answer David is looking for is right.
However if your LHBS sells farm fresh eggs like mine does, and you just bought the eggs and the lube, then you could be considered wrong.

Indeed, the lube is suspect. However, I'd say even with the eggs one might slip the bobby with some diversionary tactic (hey, look, a flying turtle).
But if you had also procured a.... say, a large autosiphon and a bunch of spare o-rings, now you've done it.
