Hot damn! I cracked open my first bottle (pic to follow) and it was delicious.
I made the Irish Red Extract Kit from Midwest. I assumed it would taste like Killians, but it's much better. I'd say if I put some cascade in that baby it would taste more like SNPA. It did have the distinct Killians smell when bottling though.
One thing that surprised me is that it's this good and fully carbonated after only 10 days in the bottle. (69 degrees) I did have a 4 week fermentation, but I fully expected the beer to be flat when I cracked it.
Thank you to everyone who contributes to this forum, I read a LOT and picked up a LOT of stuff you can't get in How to Brew.
I'll have to pick up some store bought to tide me over until it's fully conditioned, though I have to admit I chilled a 6'er this a.m.
up next.....SNPA clone with added DME and dry hopping
