One evening, while hanging out with Cheeto we came up with an idea for a Party in a Box. Well, his idea mostly. We gave the idea a basic test while at his place and I did a little more development at mine. I then took the idea on the road to give it a full on test.

Whats a party in a box you ask?!

First start with a Pelican 1650 case with wheels and luggage handles.

This is going to get heavy, so the rugged heavy duty and water tight pelican is the perfect choice. Skip on the foam. Now add two ball-lock cornies filled with your favorite. These two are filled with Apfelweins (Standard and Turbinado).

Lay them down gently and add your accessories to the case. I have two party taps and and my two guage set powered by a 20 oz paintball tank or a 2 oz party popper gas dispenser.

I then set it in the truck and drove to the nearest grocery store.

At the store add 4 bags of ice. It fits exact and after an hours ride, it will be good and cold or stay that way. When are ready to tap them for party time, just stand them up in the case, tap and serve like normal.

If the party starts getting out of hand, like the party I tested at, lay the kegs back down and lock the case. :tank:

Is that a half-rack of SNPA in the van as well? You truly have a party on wheels there!

Won't the tipped kegs cause the yeast to stir up? Not that it's important to me personally, but some people are put off by cloudy beer.

Travesyofnature and I have a two week thing every summer, this year should be quite fun 20 gallons of homebrew might hold us over.

This is an excellent idea and I'd love to set this up for myself, although... They're nearly $300 CDN! That's a bit too rich for my student blood :(
