I'm just getting into homebrewing. I'm an active duty paratrooper currently stationed at Fort Bragg, NC. I mainly plan on brewing stouts and porters.

Welcome to the addiction. I read post about the broken airlock,did you go and transfer to secondary(I would have)?

That was back when I was making a half-assed attempt at homebrewing. I'm fairly sure I transferred it and it ended up having an off flavor. It's been a few years, I don't completely remember.
