Hi all, like most in here I'm just beginning my journey into Home Brewing. A good friend of mine gifted me a "Starter Kit" he picked up from one the Craft Beer Festival's which we both frequent. I've never attempted to brew my own beer but I'm looking forward to giving it a crack !

Welcome! Be forewarned that this is an addictive hobby.... Some days, I walk into the garage and shake my head at how much time and money I have sunk into this (think Cold War arms race!) then I snap out of it, poor myself a beer and start prowling the hbt classifieds again ; )

Cheers!

Thanks Marcb for the welcome. Yes I've noticed it can be all consuming ! But like most hobbies great fun as well ! I'm hopeful anyway.

Seen some awesome pics of guys and their setup's it looks like it's come a long way from when I used to watch my old man poter around the shed making his cider.

Luckily I'm much more of a procrastinator than an impulse buyer so I'II try not to jump the gun haha.
