Well I've been a long time lurker and finally decided to take the plunge. This past week I scored a complete Homebrew setup off of Craigslist.org:

:: 30 qt (7.5 gal) Aluminum brew kettle with tap
:: 60,000 BTU Propane burner
:: Large dial thermometer
:: 24" heavy-duty plastic spoon (never used)
:: 6.5 gal bottling bucket
:: 6.5 gal fermenter w/ spigot (great for taking samples without risking infection)
:: Super Agata bench capper
:: Fermtech Auto Siphon (never used)
:: 31 oz bottle of Star-San rinse-free sanitizer
:: 3 oz bottle of BTF Iodophor sanitizer
:: Bottle brush (never used)
:: 3-piece fermentation lock
:: Triple-scale hydrometer and test jar
:: Burton Water Salts (good for use with distilled water)
:: "The True Brew Handbook"
:: A dozen linear feet of siphon hose
:: Spring-tip bottle filler
:: About a hundred bottle caps
:: About 80 12-oz amber beer bottles, boxed

A buddy of mine is getting out of Homebewing (shame really) and I'm buying his "advanced" setup:

Mash tun (Denny Conn batch sparge style)
Converted keg-keggle brew pot
Refractometer
Grain mill - Barley Crusher
Bottle tree
Bench capper
6 gal carboy
5 gal carboy
Brewers Edge paint ball regulator (this is a sweet thing to have google it)
Tap a draft mini keg head I hacked to accept the Co2 via the above
Ice cube fermentation chiller

This coming weekend he will begin teaching me the ins and outs of how to make my own brew. It's been a long time coming!

Wow that sounds like a nice score. It will also be nice to have someone to help you along. Welcome!!

Thank you fellas! I stopped off at our local homebrew shop yesterday to pick up the ingredients for my first batch. Can't wait to get it started!
