I just bit the bullet and bought a riptide pump and whirlpool attachment for my kettle.

At flameout I plan to hook up my IC to water and get the temp down, then remove the chiller and start whirlpooling. I have two sections of tubing with quickconnects to the pump. I plan to set it all up next week and brew with it for the first time but am wondering - how do I sanitize the tubing and pump? Just soak the two lengths of tubing in sanitizer and don’t worry about the pump?

Thank you!

I start the whirlpool with about 5 minutes left in the boil, which will sanitize everything. I'd highly suggest cleaning the pump and tubing before using it though.
