Hi all

here is my question SWMBO's boss has a giant 3 or 4 year hop plant growing in the front of his shop and he never uses them (just for decoration over the door.) He told me to "take as much as you want I just care about the foliage." I was wondering if there was a way to figure out what knid of hops they were.

thanks Cheers

its prob cascade, fuggle or other popular US hops but smell them and brew with then and that should give you an idea

It's not at Fat Head's, is it?

nope, He's on the east side. he can't recall what they are. but there HUGE at least 20ft already
is there some at fat heads aswell?

Fat Heads has a few growing out front (well the parking lot side) that were doing quite well the last time I was there, which was about a month ago.

I tried their smoked porter when I was there... heavenly! My wife said it was like drinking bacon. I fail to see a problem with that.

well I guess I'm off to fat heads for a smoked porter after work, because that sounds great.
