WTF!!!!!!! I have a two tap tower system and I'm trying to change the beer lines. Well, one anyway. It was easy taking the old one off, but trying to screw it back in that little space with that spacer is friggin impossible. Does anybody have a pictorial or an easy way of doing this? I'm gonna have a heart attack or my wife is gonna kill me for yelling so much..

Is there a way to screw off the whole faucet/beer nut/barb assembly at the top? Or can you take the top off and put it in that way?

I don't have a tower, just some thoughts.

Do you have a tower faucet wrench? Assuming you do, I have found the easiest way is to hold the nut in place with the wrench, and turn the shank instead of the other way around. I try to spin the nut on as much as possible with my fingers first, then work it on the rest of the way by turning the shank. Once I get it sorta tight you cannot spin the shank the whole way around, but you can still move it side-to-side. So, that combined with moving the wrench the opposite way and it will tighten up the rest of the way fairly quickly.

FWIW I have a 3-tap tower and it's incredibly tight in there. No matter what you do, it requires a lot of patience to disassemble and reassemble.

I do have that wrench, but is there a way to hold the front while tightening the nut without ruining the threads in the front? Thanks for the input. I had my wife and her tiny hands help me..

I still have to do the other side...Ugh!! Should be much easier though. Better be..

I guess I'm confused by your question. Which threads are you talking about?

I just stick the shank on through the hole, throw the nut and then the spacer on the line, then connect the line to the shank. Then, I scoot the spacer and nut up onto the shank. Then I hold the faucet/shank with my left hand on the outside of the tower, while tightening the nut with my right on the inside of the tower. Once the nut gets tight enough that I need the wrench, I pick it up and use that instead.
