Hi. I'm doing my second mead and this time it's a red currant melomel.
I'll be adding 3 kilos of red currants to the mead after fermentation is over and I have stabilized it. I started this today and I'm wondering how much the red currants will add liquid to the mead. I just added sugar to it to increase the abv a bit. I increased it from 1.090 to 1.108. It was 10 liter size, but it's little over now that I added 600grams of sugar.
Whole packet of Lalvin QA23 yeast and Nutrivit yeast nutrient.
