I was just talking about this the other day when I was accused of owning more cars than the average person. I'm not sure on some of the years, but...

92 Mazda Protégé
87 Toyota Corolla FX
9x Isuzu Rodeo
03 Saturn Vue
0x VW Beetle
0x Ford Ranger
0x Ford F150
05 Mini Cooper S
09 Nissan Titan
16 Nissan Frontier
16 Ford Focus
06 Lotus Elise
15 Ford F150

I think that's it.

Ya know, rule # 31: Those waking up an ancient thread, buys all of us a round of beer...

i'll drive my only second car to the store and get some apple juice here in a few days....

ferment it, carb it, serve it, and point out obviously you ALL have more money then me! 🤣 :mug:

But still 100x safer than riding on the street lol.
I'm glad it all turned out well (more or less). I only ride the cruiser but am respectfully afraid of the chain of maneuvers that can high-side the rider.
Street riding can be less than ideal. I ride only in light traffic so I don't eliminate my safety valves. There are some decent places to ride around here (Detroit Metro Area) if I drive a dozen miles or so.
That course looks really cool.

Got my license in 1967. Since then-
1959 Chevy Impala
1964 Pontiac Tempest
1968 Olds F-85
1972 Pontiac Ventura (first car bought new)
1960 IHC pickup
1968 GMC pickup
1973 Dodge pickup
1977 Chevy pickup (bought new, worst pickup I ever owned; it ate Turbo 350s)
1978 Chevy Malibu (bought new, worst car I ever owned; it ate Turbo 200s and cam lobes)
1984 Ford Bronco (bought new)
1987 Ford Tempo (bought new)
1988 Ford Ranger (stays at the city house)
1992 Ford pickup (bought new)
1992 Ford Taurus
1996 Dodge Cummins diesel (bought new)
1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee (bought new)
2001 Dodge Cummins dually (still have it; trailer puller at the farm)
2002 Ford Expedition (bought new)
2002 Chevy pickup (my daily driver at the farm)
2004 Ford Explorer (inherited from my parents; it’s the spare vehicle for the whole family)
2007 Lincoln Navigator
2008 Hyundai Sonata (leave it at the city house; most trouble free vehicle I’ve ever owned)
2018 Chevy Equinox (only kept it 6 months; my wife hated it)
2018 Chevy Colorado (our current daily driver and commuter car between the farm and the city house)

25 vehicles in 55 years and only 9 were bought new. Yes, I am a cheap SOB

My favorite car was an '88 Beretta GT, 5-speed manual. Loved that car. Interestingly, it took a very long time for it to look really dated.
I'm partial to anything that's manual, love driving anything in general though.

Maybe you should list your heavy trucks too, would be amusing. 9 new cars in 55 year would hardly be called cheap in my book, I think the newest car I ever bought was 6 or 7 years old when I bought it.

Started driving in 1965, the same year I started flying. There have been quite a few cars in those intervening years. (A lot of airplanes, too!). As to the terrestrial vehicles, I think this is the whole list. At least these are the only ones I remember. Most were bought new, a few were used, but only 2 were leased. Some were kept for quite some time (1975 Volvo wagon: 17 years, >350,000 miles I think; went through three odometers). Some much shorter. At times we only had one car. Once we had four, though at the time only two of us were licensed drivers. Now we have three, and once again only 2 licensed drivers under our roof. Currently looking at another Mercedes Sprinter as well as "something electric" to replace the 2013 Volvo sedan.

Lots of cars, evoking even more memories. Here's my list:

1961 Ford Fairlane 500
1964 Mustang Convertible
1966 Ford LTD
1967 Mercury Cougar
1954 Mercedes 190SL
1972 Volvo 144E
1978 Volvo 245DL
1982 Ford Ranger
1984 Ford Aerostar
1985 Chrysler Cirrus
1986 Ford Windstar
1986 Saturn
1987 Toyota Celica
1989 Subaru Outback
1994 Ford SportTrac
2001 Volvo S60
2013 Volvo S60
2013 Mercedes Sprinter
2015 Mercedes Sprinter
2017 Toyota Prius
2019 Mercedes Sprinter

Oh, there was also a Kawasaki KZ street bike in there. Just one 'cycle. Luckily I didn't kill myself.

I currently drive an '06 Subaru Outback with the winter package and a 5 speed manual.

Every vehicle I've ever owned was a manual transmission. All cars/trucks I've owned have been used. My Janus motorcycle is the only new vehicle I've ever bought.

Past daily drivers:
'69 Beetle
'65 Beetle
'51 Beetle (It had a welded seam running down the roof... Germany had sheet metal shortages after the war.)
'66 Karmann Ghia convertable
'71 Karmann Ghia hardtop
'71 (I think) VW Safari with hard, and soft top (The Thing)
2000 Ford sport truck
'74 Chevy long bed (Urban Assault Vehicle)

Past cars sold shortly after finishing custom or restoration work:
'49 "Barn Door" microbus
'29 Cadillac ambulance model sold as new old stock to a Cincinatti coachbuilder in '31 and converted to a limo. It was a barn find in Colorado and had been rolled with damage mostly just to the roof. I removed the roof, the top half of the wind screen, the back seats, and most everything between the rear fenders. Then I welded up a diamond-plate truck bed for it. VERY fun ride.
'41 ford sedan
'49 ford coupe
'60 ford T-bird

Bikes:
Honda trail 90 (don't know year)
late '80s (I think) Kawasaki triple (I hated trying to balance three carbs!)
'61 BMW R60
2001 Harley Road King
2021 Janus Halcyon

I had the R60 and the Road King when I bought the Halcyon last year. After a few months I realized I wasn't riding the Beemer or the Harley at all anymore. So I sold them. The Janus is just too fun!

None.

I don't even have a driver's license.

And yes, I am of drinking age.
I once knew a KLM pilot who flew Boeing 747s, but he didn't have a drivers' license. He lived in Amsterdam and rode a bicycle most places, or took the train or other public transportation. Had another friend (U.S. based airline pilot) who was born and raised in New York City. Took public transit everywhere, or walked or took a cab. Finally he decided that "a rich airline pilot" deserved to have a proper automotive status symbol. First he bought an SL Mercedes, then learned to drive it. Literally, he bought the car and then took driving lessons. He lived in the City and only drove it on the weekends. Cost him an arm+leg to garage it during the week.

So I have had a wide variety of cars. Jeeps have been the only constant really haha.

1994 White Honda Accord 4 Door (first car hand-me-down that was my sisters)
1998.5 White Chevy Silverado Z71 2 Door (was a cool truck. had updated interior/decals but still the 350 engine)
2001 Gunmetal Jeep Cherokee Sport 4 Door (one of my favorite vehicles that got me into modding my stuff and going offroad/overlanding/camping)
2001 Green Jeep Wrangler Sahara (Shared with my dad. He drove it during hunting season and it was mine for all others while in college)
2007 White Chevy Silverado Z71 Extended Cab (First real job vehicle. Not my favorite vehicle I had but drove well aside from gas mileage)
2012 Silver Ford F150 FX4 4 Door (My first dumb purchase that was too expensive and I hated making monthly payments on it. Didn't have it long)
2015 White Jeep Wrangler Sahara 2 Door (loved this thing, took out the back seat for the dogs and never had to worry about co-workers or friends always wanting to take my vehicle for trips or lunch every day.)
2015 Anvil Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4 Door (Current vehicle and my favorite thing I've ever owned. Traded my 2 door in for it and got an amazing deal so it feels good to drive and pay for. Also the most loaded aside from my F150 even though I wasn't looking for loaded. This will also be the vehicle I never get rid of.)

Edit: I did "share" a 1966 Ruby Red Ford Mustang Sedan with my dad in high school as well. We bought and restored it a bit before we sold it to get Jeeps.

Oh Boy... I've owned somewhere around 25 cars since 1979. A lot of beaters... I'll just list some of the more interesting cars I've had.
"72 Mazda RX-2 - my first car, crashed it in the wet.
"69 Bug - lowered it and built an 1835cc for it. At one point I had around 10 air cooled VW's at the same time, mostly crap.
'68 VW Squareback - a beater, but interesting.
'70 Toyota Corona - bought it for $50, put a clutch in it and drove it for a pinch and flipped it for $500
'84 (I think) Subaru GL Wag - ski-mobile
'78 Datsun 280Z 2+2 - my first sports car. Had to replace the cylinder head as it was cracked.
'77 Datsun 280Z - built a motor for it, and set it up for autocross. First car I did 125mph in...
'89 Nissan 240sx - bought brand new just 3 days before the Loma Prieta earthquake. Set it up for autocross and earned 2 local championships with it.
72 Datsun 240Z - kind of a rust bucket... this was my last interesting car for a while as being stuck in an crap marriage can really impinge upon have a nice car.
Divorce! YAY...lol
90 Nissan 240sx - first car out of the marriage and had no money
95 BMW 325is - fun car, big pile of s**t
92 Mazda Miata - set this up for autocross too, won a local championship in it.
99 Miata - ok, this was actually the 2nd wife's car
08 Mazda Miata - current car. I love this car. it's comfy, quick and handles great. It's got a retractable hard top... keeps the weather out better than a rag top.
BONUS ROUND
The wife fell in love with a 65 Ranchero that was for sale down the street, so we have that too. The wifes current daily is a 15 Mazda 3.

Our farm vehicles aren’t owned by me, personally, but by our business. Like most farms, we have a collection of, mostly, older trucks and pickups, most of which are used for a specific purpose and never leave the farm. We have two semis, a 1990 Peterbilt 377 and a 2000 Volvo VN 64, and several trailers. One old truck, which is more interesting than the rest, is a 1954 GMC 1 ton dually with an 8 foot dump box. My maternal grandfather was a GMC dealer in the little town of Harlem, MT back in the 50s. My paternal grandfather bought that truck, along with a 54 5-window pickup, new from the other grandfather. My dad sold the pickup almost 40 years ago but we still have the one ton. We don’t really use it for anything, though it does run. It’s worth having around for sentimental value alone. I think it only has about 27-28K miles on it.

I got my class 1 in a 1951 GMC towing a 12T trailer, forgot the exact tonnage, but it was a beast with a Detroit 4-53 and a funky OD tranny with a strange shift pattern.
