How Long in a Keg

How long can homebrew sit in a C02 pressurized 5gal keg before weird things start happening? Metalic taste, old beer taste, whatever?

Depends on the beer. I have a barleywine that is over 5 years old.

Due to a series of mis adventures, one of our kegs went from Omaha to Kansas City to California and back to KC and Omaha. By the time it was finished traveling and was tapped an entire year had gone by. It was great! If our little batch of beer can go through all that, yours will be fine for a long time too.
