How Long Does a Corny Keg Last For You?

I cascade my kegs, so that they mature at different times so that I have motivation to jump off an older keg to hit a new one, which allows the old keg more time to age and mature in taste. By doing so, I can make it 2 months on a keg and need to brew 5 gallons every two weeks.

I have four kegs, three taps. I try to brew once every four to five weeks, keeping one keg in queue. So far, I'm at about one per month by quantity, but since I'm the only drinker in the house, a single keg lasts a couple months since it's distributed across three and I tend to favor one.

Its really hard to figure. I have six corneys and several beers in bottles with at least two fermenting at all times. It always seems i kick two kegs at once. Right when i think i am stocked up. I fail.....:(

I brew every 3 to 4 weeks so I try to have a rhythm of keg then ferment, keg then ferment....lol. For some reason there still are empty commercial beers in my garbage ..?

For my Summer BBQ, I kicked 10 kegs in 7 hours.

Typical consumption, as most have stated, depends on the beer. Higher ABV stick around a bit longer (unless they are super duper good). I go through 2 kegs of my house pale ale a month, with a 3 tap kegerator.

I'm at a conference right now, this will probably go tonight.

Mostly 6 months to 5 years. Not the same since Guzzle Boy died. He could kill a keg in 3 weeks!

mine will sadly last no more than 3 weeks. One night I had a party and went through 5 kegs. It never ends though, beer is an art form and art is meant to be enjoyed.

I'm pretty much the only one drinking my beers besides a bottle or two for my HBC and whatever I decide to share with my work buddies. My wife drinks one little sampler glass a night or so (she's still breastfeeding our 3mo old) to my 1 to 2 12oz pours.

So with that said, I have 4 taps and usually 3 or 4 are filled. I don't drink them down equally, but I'd say whatever beer I'm drinking the most of will last 2-3 months.

My corny kegs seem to last forever.

Sadly, that's not true of their contents, which disappear all too quickly.

It's mainly be and my lady drinking from the keg and then Ill give maybe six bottles away but my kegs have been lasting 5-7 days. Always when I pour that foam I suprised and say "that's it?". I always think theres more than there is.

killed my first keg in about 9 days. i'm scared since it was also my first AG brew that, while extremely drinkable, has some issues that i will be tending too :D

like someone said before, beer is an art form that is meant to be enjoyed. i thoroughly enjoy it.

Just me and one is gone over two weekends (only drink on off days) unless there is a holiday in there.
