How do i single infusion on a 5gl cooler? I usually fly sparge but this morning I wanted to do it different but I just realized that i need 2.66gl of water to mash and 5.75 for mashout but i only have a 5gl cooler. can i mashout twice? maybe 2.8 mashout for 10 and 2.8 mashout again right after?

split your sparge addition in half and sparge twice.

After the mash is over - vorlauf & collect first runnings
Add 2.8 gallon sparge - vorlauf & drain
Add 2.8 gallon sparge - vorlauf & drain

I split my sparge between 2 sparges after draining the initial mash.

Thats what i did, Another question. I cant get the bubbles out of my hose when i am draining my mash. I get alot of bubbles in my kettle even if i slow it way way down. is that aeration bad?
