Coldest I've ever been fishing was in the Mountains above Bishop in May 2021. About 30F the first night but the fishing was rocking.

We also both caught a large mouth bass in the Owen's River

The only ice came from our plastic roll up 1 gallon water container that was leaking.

10 days. Got snowed on a couple times, Camp Jefferies, some 8300' elevation.

Best vacation in a long time and we live near several local lakes.
