Hi. I think my next brew will be a clone of Delirium Tremens. Austin Homebrew has a clone that I think I'll get. I really do enjoy Delirium, but for my own version I'd really like it to be a bit more bitter than the original. Granted it may not turn out well, but I'd like to try just for fun. Not overly bitter - just a bit more bite. I'm still fairly new to this. I've brewed 3 homebrews so far. The last was a full grain Pliny clone, but for this I think I'll do the partial mash version. Are there any suggestions for hops and how much? That may be a very broad question, but I'm not sure how to narrow it down any more than that. Any suggestions or advice would be very welcome!

can you post your recipe? without that much all i can say is to increase your first hop charge. '

after some googling it seems they're using continental hops as one would expect. styrian goldings and saaz were mentioned here: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f37/austin-homebrew-delirium-tremens-clone-94783/

if 22 IBU's is the number to shoot for you could try aiming for ~30. i know for tripels going much higher than 35/upper 30's is pushing it so i'd consider not going too high or you could end up somewhere you didn't intend to be.

AHB doesn't list the exact recipe, but I read the same one you just linked. Sounds like I'll aim for 30, as you suggested. Thank you!
