Been searching and searching and can't find any guidance on making a hop tea. I can assume the process but thought I'd read from those that have done it b4. My blonde is too sweet and has a slight off taste that I want to try and mask before contemplating dumping it.

(rant - everything we do in beer seems to be 3 character words which are excluded from search :()

Google "hop tea" site:http://www.homebrewtalk.com Although tea* will work in this search engine.

The key point in hop teas: you can't push the IBU over 90. Adding 2 quarts @ 90 IBU will raise the batch about 9 IBU, which is a detectable amount for most people. A half ounce of just about any hop will get you there.
