I will be getting a shipment of hop rhizomes this monday 4/8/13, but I will be out of town till Thursday 4/11/13! I have never planted hop rhizomes, what is the best way to store the rhizomes before planting?

Put them in a ziplock bag in the fridge, with very light water added. I usually just run a little bit of water in the bag and then dump the water out and put in the fridge. Works well. The low temps keep them dormant and the light water keeps them from drying out. Too much however will let them rot. I've stored them this way for months without any issues.

if you are gone for only 3 days, I'd plant them in one of those disposable black plastic flower containers,,,,,,you'll get a big head start
