Hop residue in fermenter

So I didn’t use a hop bag and there’s quite a bit or hop residue in the fermenting carboy is that ok?

Absolutely. I'm assuming you mean hop material from the boil that transferred over? Won't be a problem, the yeast will drop all that to the bottom when the krausen falls.

Did you siphon/filter from the boil kettle to the carboy, or did you just dump it in? If you dumped it in that usually means you will have much more sediment/trub/residue/settlement.

Did you dry hop? That will leave sediment as well. It wont hurt your beer.
