I have a clone of Samuel Smith's Taddy Porter in my primary. After two days, I was cleaning up the area of the garage I do my boil in and discovered I had left my aroma hops out. This is 1/2 ounce of East Kent Golding. AHS had an open house today and I dropped by and asked one of the guys if I should just let it go or if I should dry hop. He said to dry hop in the secondary but only use 1/4 an ounce or in other words half what it called for in the recipe to put in at the last 5 minutes of the boil. He was real busy and may have been distracted so I thought I would ask here if anyone has an opinion on this.

The simplest thing might be to boil 1/2 oz. in a pint of water for 5 minutes & add it to the fermenter.
