Hi everyone!

If you have a device with Google Assistant (a Google Home or an Android phone), you can now talk to the Homebrew Helper voice assistant!

You can invoke the assistant by saying:
"Ok Google, talk to Homebrew Helper"

Because it deals to with alcohol, Google requires that the first question asks about age...

You can also skip the welcome message by getting directly to a deeper "task":

- Ok google, talk to Homebrew Helper for conversions
- Ok google, talk to Homebrew Helper to convert gravity
- Ok google, talk to Homebrew Helper for info on beer styles
- Ok Google, talk to Homebrew Helper to identify an off flavour
- Ok google, talk to Homebrew Helper to adjust gravity for temp
- Ok Google, talk to Homebrew Helper to get help reaching my final gravity
-...

Next steps:
- monitor how people use it (if they do!) to see where the flow breaks and make fixes
- improve the way it behaves when there is a screen (suggestion pills and "cards" for answers)
- fix any bugs in the current supported tasks
- try to port this to an Alexa skill as well
- add other functionalities, gradually

Now, keep in mind I'm just a team of 1, and I'm leaning this stuff. Some conversation paths may not work perfectly well yet.

If a few of you could try and let me know if you were able to "invoke" the assistant through Google Assistant (and get an answer), it would be awesome.

Thanks!

Worked well for me.

Hi again!

I just made a small modification: it can now also be invoked with "Ask Homebrew Helper".

For example, these should work right from Google Assistant:

Ask Homebrew Helper (gets to the start of the agent)

Ask Homebrew Helper about ingredients in a Munich Helles

Ask Homebrew Helper to convert 14.5 Brix

etc.

Just Homebrew Helper works too without ask to invoke it on my phone.
Great job!
