So I am in the process of buying a new house, first one. We have a perfect spot between the dinning room and living room for a bar. That I'm going to put a keggerator with taps coming out of the top for my home brew. I'm planning on building my own bar. Anyone have any good plans for a simple bar, nothing fancy, no sink or anything. Thanks.

I think it would be helpful to know how much space your working with, what configuration you want for the bar, how many bar stools you want, if you want cabinetry behind the bar, how many taps your looking to incorporate, etc. There are a lot of guys with fantastic bar builds on HBT, so with a little more ellaboration, someone should be able to hook you up! You can check out my bar build in my signature line....it's simple in design and layout, but very functional. Mine is trimmed out in rustic materials (redwood slab tops, cedar log and panel cabinet construction, knotty pine, etc.), but you could use materials to match the decor of the home very easily. Congrats on your first home! Let me know if I can help, but specifics would be helpful in your quest for blueprints. :mug:

Holy..... Hop, I want your basement. Dear God I wish I had that kind of room. But alas I don't. I'm looking for plans for a basic build, about 5-6ft long bar deep enough for a mini-fridge for a double tap kegs and tower. The area behind the bar has some built in book cases so no cabinets needed. Also looking to put doors on the back of the bar too. Suggestions?
