Its time to up the game, I'm very happy with my current set up, but, I feel there is room for improvement,.
I currently brew with a Brewzilla 3.1.1, I sparge with a separate heated hot liquor tank, my brewhouse efficiency fluctuates between 65 and 75%, and i feel by crushing my own grain I can make it more efficient/consistent
I've read a bunch of threads, done some on line research, so I'm leaning towards buying a monster mill MM3G, I'll be turning this with a 24 volt Milaukee fuel drill, the same one that turns a 8" ice Auger through up to 24" of ice, so its up to the task.
I'm to ready to spend $300 or so, as i.only plan on buying it once..any and all opinions welcome.
Thanks In. Advance

Owning your own mill is a good investment for the long haul. Buy whole bulk grain means you brew anytime you want and be able to customize your brews to your liking.

I have had two mills; Barley Crusher I bought new but after using it for years and rebuilding it once I replaced it with a used JSP mill.

The JSP works fine, powered by a gear motor. When it comes time to replace it I will go with a Monster Mill. I haven't researched which model enough to know but Monster does make good mills.

I got my mill from Automatic thirty years ago. It's 2024, and the mill is still running. Since 1925, Automatic has been Building Innovative Products for the Agricultural Market.
I turned the mill from a manual to a fully automatic mill.
From old to new.

Those are BIG bits of kit!
Hope you’ve you a spacious brew shed..

I've not heard too many complaints about them, so probably a wise decision. I paid $50 for a used a Cereal Killer and have been using that for years, although I did have to replace the bearings once due to them using cheap, shielded bearings.
