Hey everyone, I was drilling into my minifridge (haier HC46SF10SB) and hit a wire when drilling my last flange hole. Following this, I saw sparks in the hole and the fridge shut off (fridge was plugged in). Is there anything that can be done to get it running again?

Thanks

Get at that wire and replace it. Maybe jumper it first to make sure you didn't completely fry anything.

What kind of wire was it? Pics?

A wire can be spliced. You won't know if something was shorted to disfunction unless you test with a multi-meter or, just splice and hope.

Should go without saying that your first mistake was drilling without unplugging. Would not have changed the result but would have saved anything from damage as a result of a short. You, mostly.
