Hello

I saw a 7.2 cu ft freezer at Costco for $139 (it was on sale for $109 but I missed that promotion. Anyone have any luck making a kegerator with this freezer?

Thanks
Sam

PS I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right section as the build and layout sticky is actually in the Bottling/Kegging forum.

I have that one and one from Best Buy. They are basically the same freezer.

The Best Buy one was turned into a 4 tap keezer with collar as a proof of concept.
The Costco one is currently a fermentation chamber but will be "Keezer v2" once I get around to it.

So, in answer to your question: Yes, you can easily build a keezer out of that unit.

I missed the $109 sale also but, bought one when they had them back in stock. It will hold 4 kegs with no collar and 5 kegs with an 8" collar but 6 will not fit. I was really hoping for 6 but for the price I am happy.
The inside dimensions are: L X W X D
15.5" X 32" X 27" and the hump measures 15.5" X 8.5" X 8.25"
