Man, this thread has taken a dark turn. Why so glum fellas?

Sending it up early Saturday morning in search of the elusive on-site Art - wondering if anyone is heading up and is willing to part ways with a couple of cans or a bottle of Everett - could swap a 2016 Stoneface RIS or something local (Deciduous, Stoneface Throwback etc.) for your troubles.

Also - between Pro Pig and Worthy Burger, which would you suggest I hit?

I'd go to the Reservoir down the street from Pro Pig. Always a stellar beer selection and they have bangin' food at solid prices. I don't mind Pro Pig but I don't love paying NYC-esque prices for decent-ish bbq.

Parker Pie - Scott's Revenge Pizza, Sweet and Spicy Thai wings
Three Penny Taproom - TPT Burger, or if they have the cold soba noodle salad
Pro Pig Brewery - Ramen if they have it, or random tacos
Black Back - Heady Dipper
Pro Pig - pork rinds, fried pimento cheese
Doc Ponds - beets and brussels, glazed carrots, mac and cheese, salted caramel milkshake

yeah...

How are the House Made Chicken Fingers on the kid's menu at Pro Pig?

Asking for a kid.

Your list has me hankering for a trip out yonder. Someday.

You forgot the most important one:

Old Stagecoach Inn - Huevos Rancheros

Also pretty solid list, I'd make a few personal changes but nothing to turn one's nose up at there. I'm not even much of a dessert guy usually, but those milkshakes at Doc Ponds are money. I am going to adjust your PP order though:

Parker Pie - Green Mountain Special or Bangkok Disco pizza, Scott's Revenge wings

Not a regular when it comes to the HF pilgrimage by any means as I've only made the trek once, but outside of the lobster rolls (Bite Into Maine) and a seafood dinner (Street & Co) I had in Portland, the Old Stagecoach Inn's breakfasts were my favorite meals on my entire New England trip. So glad that I heeded the advice of this thread and visited this place.

McCarthy's in Stowe had a great breakfast as well. I have never been blessed with a trip to Old Stagecoach, so I can't compare, but the cinnamon roll and corn beef hash was on point.

I will also say that if you have a non beer drinking significant other who wants a date to balance out the beer, Hen of the Woods was worth the money.

Those two and Parker Pie were by far my favorite spots from my week up there for FOFA this summer.

My daughter really likes them, and she's a pretty fussy eater.

And OS meant:

The Bayley Blue Balls at Doc Ponds might be the best thing I have ever eaten.

And those carrots are can't-miss.

I wasn't mad I missed out on the beer, sure I was a little dissapointed. I just did not like they way it went down, and am not alone with that feeling. From what I heard they recieved a lot complaints and then brought more Art out in the afternoon. Maybe I got incorrect info...

You received incorrect info, but I am sorry you got shut out :(

I can't imagine a situation where someone who drives a WRX would wish they were driving a Crosstrek instead. No offense to Crosstrek guy. Unless your WRX is lower than stock or you've got high-performance tires that don't work in winter, then I'd venture to say there isn't really an appreciable difference in your ability to make it up the roads to HF vs a Crosstrek. I'll take the power advantage of the WRX in those conditions over an inch or two of ride height any day.

What is remaining of my Impreza's bumper greatly disagrees with you.
