Fact: Any HF shelfie aged 3-4 years = magic.

Speaking of which, opened an 11/2014 Edith over Thanksgiving:

This is a truly beautiful beer. There are so many places a dark saison with a mixed fermentation could go sideways, but this manages to corral all the elements into a really perfect harmony. Lemony tartness, a slightly roasty body, and a funky finish all work together in a way I'd be skeptical of were it not for my previous experiences with Edith. Really one of a kind for my taste.

Anybody crack an Aaron b1 recently and can share how it's doing? Doing a barleywine share soon...

Also, found some 10/14 Arthur and Anna, 7/14 Florence, 1/15 Soigne and a few other older saisons in a recent cellar check. Haven't had any of those batches in quite some time, anybody try those recently? I saw Marc say '14 Flo is a bit over the hill so curious on the others....

Just want to add that was still very good but 15 was just such an amazing beer in comparison

Jeeezus **** just drink them cause it's Wednesday. They are not going to get any better at this point.
(honestly though, great excuse just to drink them)

I had a 10/14 Arthur a few weeks back. Still delicious, wasn't as mindblowing as the May 2014 Arthur i recently had. So maybe its ramping up to that level

May 2014 Arthur was an exceptional batch. I remember being blown away by how good that beer was at the 4th Anniversary Celebration (it was released right around then, and there was keg of it at Pro Pig). If I recall correctly, it was the first Arthur batch to see some time in the Foeders HF had recently installed.

I wouldn't want a Mimosa now unless I hadn't had it because it's a shell of what it was (I had it two years ago and it had already fallen hard), but CD Citrus is one of the worst HF beers I've ever had.

Agreed, I was not thrilled with CDC. Perhaps HF will bring back Mimosa someday.

I think Peleg was the first HF beer I tried, had it at Pro Pig for the 4th anniversary events. At the time I thought rodenbach grand cru was the best beer and when I had the Peleg I was like eh not much better than rodenbach.

It's comical the number of untappd reviews that say "infected" on Peleg. God damn haze bros.
