Interesting that they lowered the Aaron limits after 1 day - I guess they do like to encourage the Wednesday traffic for whatever reason.

or they planned for it to last a certain amount of days and day one was more than they expected based off of last year's turn out and current traffic so they adjusted as they saw fit?

Obviously possible but demand seems relatively predictable these days and they've had many releases where they lower the limit on/after day 1. Easier said then done when not employed there though.

Early bird gets the worm, and lowering the limit was pretty predictable imo. Seems like things were pretty drama free, which is great.

I hear the line is 50 deep already? Far cry from last year when there was like 8 of us when the doors opened

Was honestly pretty quiet today, once you got past all the rush of opening. No line at all when I left at 230 and pretty in the tasting room as well.

Was actually a little disappointing to see the number of neckbeards grabbing "their" "allotment" of Aaron and hopping right back in their cars to leave.

Some guy on the HF FB group said he rolled in at 5pm tonight and got 6 bottles.

thanks. this guy is trying to over hype his bottles i guess.

I mean....

since the expansion, i can only think of Art being lowered on or immediately following day 1. i suppose i could be forgetting another but considering how often limited beers are released these days at HF, I'd say they've done a very good job of managing availability.

Clover too. I'd agree, overall - I think their per person bottle policy has helped a lot.

Looking forward to my second trip to Hill Farmstead and my first in 2+ years -- a lot seems to have changed!

Is the process of buying bottles/growlers/getting samples pretty much the same with just the addition of the taproom? Also, can you do taproom first then buy bottles/growlers or would it be better vice versa? I plan to be in the area around 1130 and also hit parker pie, so I was thinking of maybe just skipping the opening at HF and getting lunch for a more relaxed time later in the afternoon. I'll be there with my girlfriend, so i'd like to make the visit as enjoyable for her as possible.

If anyone will be there and wants to split bottles, i'll be down!

Generally, unless they make an announcement that bottles are running low, your best bet is to do the taproom first to drink some nice onsite bottles that are usually pretty limited. I've gone up about 4 - 5 times since the taproom opened and I've always hit onsite first and never had a problem getting bottles later.
