Last time I had the 13, it was very very different than it was originally. I'm bad at describing these things, but it had much more barrel taste to it.

20 is nice, funkier Anna and some tart LoG influence. Boarders on puckering sour but I had no problem finishing a 250ml pour. Nowhere near as sour as CD citrus.

Oh crap that's 21. 20 is also very nice, an interesting beer. Complex mix of the barrel, porter x Flanders vibes... I really enjoy it.

As dabaloons mentioned, last week we got together with a couple of other friends, ate some killer food and opened up CD 5-Citrus.
I've been cellaring most of these since the release of 5 so it was exciting to finally tackle this vert after years of anticipation
Highlights were as follows


CD5 held up pretty well


7 & 9 were wonderful


8 may have honestly edged out 11 for my #1 spot. Absolute perfection.


10 & 11 were, unsurprisingly, killer, as was 15.

8 was definitely a sleeper. I haven't had 7 or 11, but there are some great ones in that lineup. How is 6 holding up? 13 might've been my favorite, but 5, 6, and 15 were amazing too.

8 was really good if you liked what I believe was the original batch of Edith, which I did. I normally don't like dark sours at all.

Was planning to crack something nice from HF yesterday to celebrate my first marathon (i.e. Aaron) but wasn't sure I felt up to it. I did take a hot bath with a can of Mary. If you haven't tried that you should. All this said, I opened this 02/15 Arthur tonight. Absolute perfection in a bottle. A beer I don't drink enough, along with every other HF saison.

My cellar is likely close to 300 bottles now, and yes, I know that's small compared to many people. However, at the rate I buy and drink beer there are beers down there I'll never live to consume. It doesn't matter if Flora batches 1-9 are in my possession, I'll still buy batch 10. And I'm 26. My goal for this winter is to drink down the cellar at least somewhat. The HF saisons are admittedly the easy part...

Batch #10 of Flora? Last one was #7. Batch #8 should be coming late winter/early spring according to Shaun in August. Said he had some trouble with it in the past, hence why it disappeared for a few years, but finally dialed it in and hopes to make it a yearly release.
