So I know this is a HF thread but it seems like they buried the lede with apple brandy huna on tap in the tasting room next week?

Leave o grass was available for on-site and was very tasty. #sourcandybeer4lyfe
I second this. bomb diggity! Just cracked open a geneaology and if you liked Earl you will be in for a treat.

give me the deets... I have one on the way...

Really nice, very herbal nose (kinda dill, maybe?) and peppery, mostly gin dominated but still very soft and rounded.

Taste is subtle and varied, all the saison flavors are there, gin has a touch of a bite but mingles nicely, barrel is minimal. I might just have tea on the brain from trying Leaves of Grass 1 an hour ago but there's an awesome dry black tea thing going on too. Base beer has a lot of awesome citrus and peachy stuff going on that plays very well with the gin. It'll probably be a pretty polarizing beer but I'm into it, big time.

For those keeping score at home, le Sarrasin is still kicking ass.

great to hear.. now the my lingering question of when to drink my last one.. the last one of anything is really a ******* pickle when you know it's good and will then be gone.. got the same problem with CD10 and flora plum... first world problems right there

drink them whenever you want man... there will always be more awesome beer. Even if it's not the same one.

I'm working hard to adopt this mindset.

my problem is I always want to save to share... I'm making an effort to always take a bottle when visiting another beer friend or to open a good bottle when someone drops by....

waiting for special occasions or shares is how the unintentional hoarding happens

This. So much of this. Guilt over opening bottles solo.

CD 13 was amazing , like someone said really opened up when it warmed up. Leaves of grass was alot perfect, had a interesting nose that threw you off alittle and then the taste was spot on, fun to drink. I like them on the sweet side and they both were on point.

I've finally begun adopting the mindset that having a friend stop by my house is special occasion enough to open a "special" bottle.

My unintentional hoarding now happens when I realize I have a few years' releases of the same bottle and have an accidental "vertical" that I feel I need to round up a few more friends to enjoy. So either I need more friends or I need to adopt a FIFO inventory approach.
