Have to say I like the new system. With numbered tickets seems more relaxed, no rush to fill it out like at Treehouse. Having said that I don't know if they're low on cd 14, but I don't know the bottle only "line" even exists anymore with the new system.
New system was fantastic. Showed up at 2 on Thursday and the four of us left at 3:15. Completely relaxed. Showed up at 4 on Friday and was out by 4:45. From what I could tell anyone who handed in a ticket for just bottles was being taken care of immediately rather than going into the line.

They were $120. A buddy bought the only one on the shelf Thursday afternoon and I saw someone else buy the only one on Friday afternoon. There may have been more earlier.

Seems like he has a standard markup on the mags.

Anna mag was $40. 1.5L of Anna as 2x750s runs $20. Exactly double.
CD14 mag was $120. 1.5 of CD14 as 4x375s runs $60. Exactly double.
I missed out on one saturday around close as well, so there were definitely more.

really puttin' that degree to work homie

saturday was chill as hell, they opened at like 10:45 and we were back on the road by 11:10

This obviously makes so much more sense and not silly at all.
Quite frankly I couldn't give two ***** what he charges for the mags. They're a novelty purchase. I spent $40 on an Anna mag but $120 for a CD14 mag would have been to rich for my blood. So be it. They aren't for everyone. I'm just happy that the price of the shelf saisons hasn't gone up in 5+ years. I can grab a bottle from my cellar for $10 that will be much better than the random saison at the store that I dropped $20+ on.

bottle prices went up ~10% when they started including tax and deposit on top of the $10/bottle price.
still a great deal, but they did go up.

05/14 arthur, 01/15 soigne, 02/15 suarez.... drink them now. Some of the best, if not the best iterations I've had of them all. Especially the arthur, it's unreal good right now
hey, get this batch review stuff out of here. This thread is only for information you can readily find yourself in about 2 seconds on the HF website. Every batch of hf saison tastes the same unless 2 neckbeards agree the magic version was released so long ago that no one has any bottles left.

We were told that they only release 2 mags a day and a random third may appear and if they call your number, you can get it.

CD 14 lasting through Saturday?

Making my first trip to HF in exactly two weeks! Driving up from Boston and staying in Waterbury...that said, will there be any places in VT to buy wine shippers? I'd like to ship out my beer before showing up with a car full of beer back at my girlfriend's dad's house in Boston.
