no lie... Taylor Rd was the most beat up I've ever seen it on Saturday... still nothing that the little corolla couldn't get through... the rest was fine as well...
Taylor Rd is the hill right at the beginning off 16 right?

I'm hoping that they used Sunday/Monday to maybe grade it a bit, but that may be wishful thinking since I know the area has been getting a lot of rain.

yep... but honestly... the corolla makes it up... if you stick to Taylor/Jaffin/Hill then you will have no issues other than a bumpy ride up Taylor...

I believe it snowed yesterday lol

recent visitors...how are the roads up to the farm?
Like Os said, one part was pretty beat up but the rest was fine. Big muddy ruts. Just avoid them if it's still wet.

Very first part of Taylor road seemed pretty rough and we had a Jeep. I guess if Os made it through in a Corolla it couldn't have been that bad.

We took a right out of the brewery for the "scenic route" on Saturday, and it was pretty dicey at times in my Murano, but that's probably because we were trying to keep up with some ******* in this thread that had a Dodge Challenger rental and was flying down the hill.

Yes, this weeks batch of Arthur is going to be "different" than last weeks batch, and by different I mean has a different date on the label....
Is this confirmed? I read that to mean Arthur being bottled this week, not going on to shelves.

Just as a counterpoint, I opened one of the new Arthurs because of all the glowing reviews and sadly didn't have the same experience. It was fine don't get me wrong, but nothing special. I'd kill for some more magic batch Anna.

I think it's very good (though I will note I didn't like May 2014 Arthur as much as many), but i mean, it's definitely nowhere near magic Anna.

While we're on the subject I would add that the 12/2013 Florence batch is "magic" as well. It's the best batch of Florence I've ever had. It held it's own at a tasting next to Flora and Blueberry Flora. Something about those November/December beers.
Think I had the same experience when we did Florafest with FalconA , not 100% sure about the batch though.

I'm assuming it was that "magic batch" of Anna they were pouring at Parker Pie on Saturday? It was tasting fantastic, probably my favorite of the night. '13 Arthur and '13 Convivial were tasting great too, the Arthur was definitely one of the more tart batches I've had.

Yeah, that batch of Florence is awesome. I normally don't love Florence, one of my least favorite of the HF shelfies, but that batch was amazing. It was basically perfect with a year on it. I don't have any left :(
