By the way for anyone who was wondering what this batch of Flora tastes like, I have no point of reference to the others but the term I used yesterday was "sublimely brilliant". It's so subtle, soft, and the flavors are so well-integrated together. It makes you wish it wasn't a hard-to-get $30 bottle because it's so easy to put back. We drank a bottle of Sue on Wednesday night in Waterbury which was fantastic, and I think I enjoyed Flora even more than that.
 
From what I understand (this could be wildly wrong) the brewhouse is the same size (I think 25 hectoliter which would be about 20 barrel), but there will be much more fermenter space. So for instance, Shaun will be able to brew double batches and transfer them to the same fermenter. I can certainly understand why he wouldn't want to change the size of his brewhouse, given how he's got all his recipes dialed in for that size system.

I think you are correct there are more fermentors and bright tanks so they can do double or even triple batches of beers.

I could be totally wrong but I thought these were new brew kettles being installed in the expansion. Granted they could be the same size as his current brew kettles due to recepies, but there are more of them now.

Oh man, I hate to sound like I'm not satisfied with everything I got last week (I totally am), but 3 cases of Anna. Damn that would be nice! Hopefully that (or Arthur) is available next time I make the trek up.

Protip: do a ISO: Anna post and offer the bulk saisons you picked up last week. Do like a 4:4 or 6:6 offer and I bet it gets one. Odds are someone has done the opposite and will load up on Anna and will swap some for Florence, etc.

DAT LPG!!! Need it.

Looks like a 4-vessel brewhouse as well. I'm not familiar with the current configuration but the addition of a dedicated lauter tun and/or whirlpool would make multiple brews in one day much easier.
 
I get the use of rustic... but why? what is it describing? same thing w/ farmhouse and whatnot...

even when he said "It tastes like one of Shaun's beers"... and asked what that meant... I know I've used that phrase before, but what is it? what's the taste?
I'm telling you it's that VT well water. :)
 
Couldn't stop over today bc had the dog with us. Going to go over tomm. Looks like LP is gone and Edith as well. Wonder if any X-mas eve treats get busted out. If not no biggie bc the tap list is hops heaven!!!
 
They just posted a picture of a tote with Art and Aaron in it. Other two bottles are not yet identified.

Maybe they're Flora and Ann #startthehypetrain
