On the subject of Everett bottles, given the proliferation of case or two-case limit saisons, I'm really hoping Everett bottles get to that point when construction is done. I don't believe they've bottled any non saison/wild beer in a long time now... If time comes when one can get 1-2 cases of Everett bottles, well, that will be a good time.

Another random question, anyone had a b2 Damon recently?

had b2 Damon a month or so ago. Excellent beer.

Don't think we will ever see 2 case limits on non-saisons, pretty sure the limits are high because the foeders are massive

the new brewhouse isn't much bigger than the existing

to be fair, that's a different thing. you can do multiple brews into a fermenter much larger than your system just as you can do multiple brews into a foudre much larger than your system.

...but i don't know that there are larger fermenters. just saying it is, of course, possible.

I see. Question was intended genuinely, I couldn't tell the fermenter size from the pictures floating around.

That said, the reasoning in this quote was precisely my reason for asking. With the 30 BBL fermenters currently in place, I understand that Shaun will double batch Edward into a fermenter (perhaps others too, that is the only one I have heard specifically).

If there were in fact bigger fermenters, then with the new 25 or 30 BBL system (? probably more so the Hecto equivalent), he could conceivably produce a large amount of Everett et all wort in a given double brew day.

My understanding was that the brewhouse was not "isn't much bigger," but was, in fact, the same size as the current brewhouse. Not sure, but I think I remember that the current one was 15bbl?

but when someone says "brewhouse" to me, I am not thinking about FVs. so just because the brewhouse is the same size, i haven't heard anything that tells me for sure that there aren't 60BBL FVs coming in. but who knows!

Anyone have any special insight as to when Flora Cuvee and Madness 3 might be coming out? I need my Convivial fix but I also need everything Flora in my life.

Sounds right to me..... Just March 2015 , not 2014

(Original post was from Jan 2014)

If anyone goes to/is going to HF today, I'm curious what the situation is looking like in terms of the case limit saisons running out any time soon.

Of course, the weekend I'm flying home. If anyone is interested in Sue+ or some JK fruited sours for a January IP Flora trade (either at HF, south NH, Boston, anywhere in between?), let me know.

Could this be Flora Cuvee? He took it down from the upcoming bottle releases page.
It's back up there but now listed as "many months away" along with "50 Month Old Oud Bruin"

Also Ann:
  • Ann (Release will be lottery style, ticketed. Not a shelf released item. Details forthcoming. Largely due in part to unpredictable size/nature of parking and traffic in winter months)...

Interesting choice...
