would wonder where people rank Mule Bar... have yet to visit but I love TPT

I enjoyed Mule Bar a lot on my one trip there. I met Andrew while he was at the Farmhouse and was excited when I heard he was helping out with the Mule. He wasn't there when I swung by, but it was fun talking shop with his buddy/coworker and they took care of this Jersey jerk and my girl.

If this place was in Waterbury and I could crawl back to my B n B, it would be perfect.

Hey NE peeps

Imma get in line for any extra Zwanze tickets as well. Missed out on the lottery (unless I get lucky and snag some unclaimed ones). Doing a little Montreal/VT trip for the wife's bday so would love to cap it off at HF on the 20th.

Also, didn't even think to have the wife register too...

If going to MTL why not do Zwanze at DDC?

That is an option I suppose, but tickets booked and flying into Montreal Wednesday and out of Burlington Sunday morning. I'm not too familiar yet with the driving times, etc.

Actually, just now putting together that Dieu du Ciel is in Montreal. My Canadian game is weak and I have much to learn. :)

Just drove from MTL to Greensboro and it took a shade over two hours. Says 1hr45min to Burlington from Montreal.
Its an option....
I will say that old Montreal is a great place to stay, eat, and celebrate a lady's birthday. ;)

Old Montreal to DDC is about a $12-$15 cab ride each way.

Have any idea what DDC will look like for Zwanze day? On the chiller or more shitshow side of things? The nice thing about HF (at least on paper) is that it was ticketed so should be fairly low key I would suppose.

I seem to recall there was a monster of a lineup last year to get into the event, but my memory might be hazy after the recent VT trip.

It gets super busy, but I wouldn't say total shitshow. If you show up a couple hours early, you're sure to get a pour. There is, though, A LOT of people, and the bar itself is not big.
It will get busy for sure but the good thing is that this year the anniversary party is the week before, so maybe it will be less busy than the last 2-3 years. Last year I was in line 45 minutes before the opening and I didn't even get a pour of Zwanze...

I can NOT promise what will happen if that tote is still there in 2 weeks

Yeah i know its cherry wood for sure. But i'm just saying it makes sense to put Cherry Flora in a cherry wood tote :)
I kind of doubt that means Cherry Flora...I'd bet it's cherry wood the totes are made from. I believe Darren tweeted out a picture of the cherry wood totes saying how great it looked.

If it is Cherry Flora, well, **** me...

They only had a singular empty cherry tote on Weds. If they put one out since then thats filled with CF idk what I'd do with myself lol

You guys aren't trying hard enough -- this is like in Traffic. You need to get a large vat of flora and then put the tote inside it. The powdered, compressed Cherry Flora essence will permeate through the solution, and then boom -- the only publicly sold Cherry Flora ever.

^ sounds so good, which scene in Traffic? I haven't seen that in awhile.

Took a long time today. At the door at 3, took till 5:25 till order was took. Last visit early July, 10 people outside the door and took 1 hr 20 ish.

I blame non beer people. Place seemed filled with people whom had never been to a brewery, let alone one where there are certain rules, this isn't Nam!

Oh well, still had a great time and have great beer. Can't beat that!

Cherry tote still there with nothing in it : /

Anyone have a sense for how much CD10 is left? Would love to grab a couple bottles next week.

Couldn't really tell, they had the boxes behind the register taking orders and it seemed like 6 - 10 boxes maybe. I have no idea if more where in the back. When I left yesterday around 5:45 there were still 30-50 people behind me. I'd suspect there is some for Wednesday, how many though I've got no clue
