hey guys. anyone miss out on heady but go to the truck sale? will 1:1 heady for the crusher for as many as you want IP around Waterbury (or nyc or on the way theoretically)

FoFA was a great time, other than a few rain drops it couldn't have been a better experience. My personal highlight was spending the first hour or so cycling between Flora and Saison Bernice. Finished with prob 6-7 pours of Flora and 4-5 pours of Bernice. After those two I was set for whatever the rest of the afternoon. Shaun also said they just bottled b6 Flora...so hopefully it'll be out in 1-2 months?

Suarez's Saison offering was spectacular too. Dry as can be and eminently crushable. When that starts hitting the market wherever he ends up, I'll be there. Other random highlight for me was Tired Hands Boogieboard, a very highly hopped Saison. Loved it.

Also: DAT VERMONT SALUMI BRO.

CD10 is pretty fkn tasty...

I was happy when I saw who won that cd 10 mag, I knew this picture would happen later that night! You guys were great!

Why don't they reveal the blends anymore? Kind of annoying.

they do - http://hillfarmstead.com/philosophical-series/
CD10 isn't on there yet probably due to it not being for sale yet...

CD8's description was the first to be a bit cryptic, "Single oak barrel of blended black farmstead ale. Edith et al. 1 year in oak." and CD9's is even worse, not naming a single component. I'll be curious to see if the trend continues with the CD10.

I recall hearing something to the effect that they stopped saying what each was made up of in an effort to limit hype/hysteria, but I'm guessing that is just message board conjecture.

Figure they toss in things that don't necessarily have names or use so many things in the blend that naming the parts is worthless.

Citra Single Hop on tap.

S&S #7 in the pipeline.

Florence is down to 1 case per person.

Isn't CD 9 Susan with Brett in White Wine barrels? Paging cfrances33
according to the website:
Civil Disobedience #9
A single wine barrel blend of farmstead ales aged for nearly a year. Pale, citrusy and pleasantly tart.

"blend of farmstead ales" makes it seem like there was more than 1 thread in the barrel
